Tibet's Secret Temple: Body, Mind and Meditation in Tantric Buddhism

Wellcome Collection, London

November 2015 – Februrary 2016

The exhibition consisted of over 125 objects from 24 international public and private lenders as well as two special film commissions. It was a large, complex exhibition that required working with a wide variety of stakeholders and which presented the challenge of making an esoteric subject both engaging and accessible for a non-specialist audience. Visitor figures were the amongst the highest of any Wellcome show and responses from critics and public alike were extremely positive. Examples of exhibition interpretation and the publication can be seen here.
